R.A. Wilderness Challenge

Wow, what a night of storms but God answered our prayers and we had a “window” to move in equipment before the bottom dropped out again. REally nasty stuff but the boys spirits seemed fine. The crowd was down from what I was told to expect. About 100 total, including adult leadership participated in our time together. We pray that the seed that was planted will come to fruition this weekend.
We got back to the room around 11 p.m. and will try and get to bed pretty soon. We plan on heading out to Columbus, MS, around 9 a.m. tomorrow. We’ll be setting up our equipment tomorrow evening for the revival that begins Sunday.
Appreciate the prayers!
John

Wow, the weather

Well, we drove yesterday to Huntsville to spend the night and visit with friends. Woke this morning to some pretty nasty weather and knowing that somehow we had to head toward Lebanon, TN, for the R.A. Wilderness Challenge. We watched the doplar and waited for an opening, heading out around 12:45. It was a rough trip all the way but we arrived at our hotel around 3:15 and are going to wait a bit before heading to the campground for tonights event. We don’t actually do our part until 8:30 but we will probably head out around 5 or so depending on the weather.
Appreciate your prayers for the approx 300 boys and dads spending the weekend at this camp. I”ll give you an update late tonight.
Blessings,
John
