Headed to the Caymans

Thanks for checking in. I wish I could blog during our time of ministry there but if you’ll just pray for us Thursday-Wednesday, I’ll give you a run down when we arrive home.
Our schedule will be something like this. We will be arriving, Lord willing, in Grand Cayman tomorrow (Thursday) around 7:30 p.m. On Friday morning I’ll be talking to the Christian School (elementary). On Friday evening I’ll be doing the devotion for their “Student Night” kickoff. This is a “first Friday of the month” event where the students (youth) come to the church for games, food, fellowship, and Bible Studay. This is their first meeting since beginning school.
On Saturday we will have Kid’s Day. Everything begins at 10 and goes to 12. I’ll take the last 40 minutes of the day for my presentation.
Sunday looks to be a really exciting day. Everything will begin with a baptismal service. Then the praise team will lead in worship before I do about 20 minutes. Following me, the pastor will give a devotion before having the Lord’s Supper.
Then at 4 p.m. we’ll be catching a plane and flying to Little Cayman for a unique “Island wide” worship service in the civic center. I will be doing a concert/worship service for all in attendance. The leadership is praying for unity in the fellowship and a bond to develop.
Following that service, we will spend the night there then fly out early the next morning back to Grand Cayman for a couple of days of R & R, and return home that Wednesday (9/8).

Blessings,
John
