Hi friends. Well, I arrived home this afternoon around 1:30. Moving things in I noticed some of my wood floor in my den didn’t look right. Upon examination I found water. Yep, underneath my kitchen sink one of the hoses from the cutoff to the hot water side of the faucet sprung a leak and there you go. Must have been going on the whole time I was gone. It was just a pin hole sized leak but enough to spray and soak the back wall underneath the sink and seep into the den to ruin several rows of the wood floor. Oh well, it’s only a floor. If we’ve learned anything recently, it’s that “big things” to us really aren’t big things at all.
Patty’s mother has good days and bad. Some good moments in a day and bad. Patty is glad to be there but obviously misses her house and traveling with me. She wouldn’t have it any other way, however.
I’ll be taking a couple of days meeting with insurance folks and preparing for the upcoming 48 hr. revival in Billingsley, AL.
Thanks,
John

Meridian, MS
After spending another day and 1/2 with mom and dad, I headed on to Meridian, MS, and the UPWARD football program. Oak Hill Baptist Church had 170 kids participating so the auditorium was filled with kids, parents, siblings and grand parents. Fun night as I used my friends and sung finally leading to the cross and an invitation to receive Christ.
I appreciate your prayers as I press on without Patty and especially thank you for remembering her during this time. I’ll head home tomorrow to handle household things and prepare for the upcoming revival services in Billingsley, AL.
Blessings,
John
