Road Trip Continues

Thanks for checking in. I’m really tired as we continue to do the work. The revival in Golden, MS, went well although we didn’t see much movement in the services. In two different services there were those who came to the altar to pray. There were early days involved each day and relatively late nights so I came out rather tired.

I drove to Yazoo City, MS, on Thursday to spend a couple of nights with my parents and do any “odd jobs” to help them. There were several jobs so rest wasn’t the order of the day although sleeping in until 8 was nice.

Patty followed me down to Brookhaven, MS, to be with me a couple of days before heading back to Yazoo and her parents. Her mom is still struggling mentally (because of the stroke) and her dad is, of course, still going through his chemo treatments. He feels he can do more than he actually can and we are concerned of him wearing himself down too much.

I will head to the church (Clear Branch Baptist Church) in about 10 minutes to set up for a kids event tonight and the revival services that begin in the morning. Your prayers are much appreciated!

Pray for a move of the Holy Spirit in a great and mighty way and for me to have the strength to do the work.

Blessings,
John
