Sorry

Hi friends and thank you for checking in as you do. I apologize for you checking in only to see the same ole same ole for several days. It’s been quite a difficult few days and maybe an explaination will help with your understanding.

Last Wednesday, (Oct. 13) I headed to Yazoo City to check in on my parents as well as Patty’s. She was already there having been there since the Sunday before. She told me she was shocked at how far her mother seemed to have digressed in her stroke recovery even though taking therapy regularly. We saw it more than her dad since he was there everyday and we had not been there in a couple of weeks. On Thursday Patty called the doctor and he suggested they go to Jackson, Baptist Hospital, to have some addtional test done by a neurologist. Test on Friday morning revealed a malignant brain tumor located in the left frontal lobe. It is very aggressive and inoperable.
Patty has remained with her in their house. Home health handled everything until yesterday when hospice joined in. Patty said that although this has been the most difficult time of her life it has also been the sweetest time with her mom.
We appreciate your prayers for God’s mercy and strength through this difficult time.
I am currently at home and preparing for upcoming revival services in Hartwell, GA, at Oak Bower Baptist Church. Pray that God shows up and does what only He can do.
Blessings,
John
