Dad was discharged from Kings Daughters hospital this morning around 10 a.m. We got him home and he sat in his chair and began reading the paper. Nice to see him there. Soon I helped him take a shower and he decided, after that event, that “1 a day showers” were not necessary. Kinda funny but boy, did he wear himself out.
I was able to get some work done in prep for this weekend as dad slept this afternoon. Also ran to the store for mom and drugstore to pick up dad’s meds.
My youngest brother, Jeff, and his wife Suzy drove in from San Antonio for the weekend. The plan is for me to head to Alexandria, LA, tomorrow through Sunday a.m. then head back to Yazoo City. Jeff leaves Monday morning.
