Home Again!

It was a great road trip but wonderful to be home.  We arrived home at 7:25 tonight after a  2  1/2 week road trip.  God really moved in the meetings and we look forward to good reports in the future.

Now, we are changing gears and beginning the focus for a new week.  Tuesday I’ll be in Dothan for a teacher/student banquet then Wednesday I will drive down to Panama City to set up for the Men’s Retreat that begins Thursday.

Lots to do, many prayers both needed and appreciated!  Pressing on!

John

Friday, Neshoba

We closed out tonight and it was a sweet service with a little movement.  So, we are moving on and headed to Hazelhurst for a Sunday morning service.  I’ll pick up Patty tomorrow in Yazoo as her dad is doing well, PTL!

Thanks for the prayers!

Wednesday, Neshoba

It was a great night tonight as we saw 2 students give heir lives to Christ.  Several others came to the altar to do business with the Lord.

Pattys dad is doing great, PTL.   We appreciate  your prayers and want to remind you that we are continuing through Wed.

Blessings,

John

Tuesday, Neshoba

It was a good service tonight but several disruptions from tech difficulties made for a night of distractions. The message was strong and there was some movement but not the real “breakout” we were hoping and praying for. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we continue the work. I want to remind you that this meeting goes through Friday night!
Pattys dad got to go back to his house and is doing well. Home Health is active now and we are grateful.

Blessings
John

Monday, Neshoba

It was another good night at Neshoba as we spent the evening thanking the Lord for all He has done and then being challenged to serve!
Pattys dad is being released tomorrow not without concern on our side. Patty will be keeping a close eye on him and the dr will have a follow up on Wed. We appreciate your continued prayers.
Blessings,
John

Sunday, Neshoba

Good services today with a lot of movement. PTL
We are looking for good things this week and appreciate your prayers.
Pattys dad is steadily improving but will be in the hospital a few more days, it appears. The pneumonia is slowly going away as is the fluid. We are thankful to the Lord for answered prayers!
Blessings,
John

Arrived in Yazoo

I know there are a few of you who check in regularly and we are so grateful. It was a good, uneventful trip from Gates to Yazoo today. We found Patty’s dad improving but still pretty sick. The Dr says he will be in the hospital for several more days as they try and get rid of this infection, whatever it is.
Our plan right now, is for me to head to my next meeting on Saturday while Patty stays here in Yazoo.
I’ll be helping mom with a few things around here and preparing for next week.

Thanks again for the prayers,
John

Wednesday, Gates

We had a really sweet service, closing out our time together, as we spent the service giving testimony of thanksgiving to the Lord. I spoke on having a grateful heart and gave the church, prior to my message, an opportunity to offer a word of thanks. Sweet time.
We didn’t have any movement but things went well. The church also surprised us. They’ve always been generous but this year was especially special. We’ve been with the church for many years now so much so that they consider us part of the family and we feel the same. Whenever one in their church loses a loved one, they present a Bible. Tonight they presented us a Bible in memory of dad.

We will be pulling out in the morning for Yazoo City. Patty’s dad is better but still having difficulty so he will be in the hospital for a while longer. When we get there, Patty’s brother, Ken, will head back too Atlanta and she’ll take over. Looks like she’ll probably stay with her dad while I head on to the next revival meeting in Neshoba.
Sure appreciate your prayers.

Tuesday, Gates

Although we were down a bit in attendance tonight the spirit was good and there was some movement so we are very thankful.

And speaking of thankfulness, we got a great report from Patty’s dad. He is coming around, his blood pressure is normal as is his oxygen level. He will remain in the hospital a couple more days as they treat some infection that hasn’t been quite identified yet.
We thank you for your prayers as we continue the work and then close out tomorrow night.

Blessings,
John
